New England Patriots: Eye on the AFC East — Miami Dolphins

MIAMI DOLPHINS:

The Miami Dolphins were never really as good as they appeared at times this season. They won a wild Week One game against Tennessee, as lightning delays extended the game to over seven hours. They beat up on bottom-dwellers like the Jets (twice) and Raiders. They somehow beat the Bears in overtime, and then of course had their improbable win over the Patriots on the last desperate play of that game.

The Dolphins won seven games, but this was really a four or five win team that had no business hanging around the playoff picture in early December. A look at the roster shows the weaknesses inherent in this team:
