With the NFL regular season now in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to turn to the postseason as the Wild Card playoff round gets under way.

The New England Patriots are AFC East division champions for the 10th straight year. Once again, they also have the luxury of sitting back and watching eight other playoff teams duke it out over Wild Card Weekend.

First, the Indianapolis Colts travel to take on the Houston Texans on Saturday at 4:35 pm EST. The game will be televised on ESPN and ABC. Fierce division rivals, the Colts and Texans split their season series in two hard-fought battles, and now face off a third time with a chance to advance to the Divisional playoff round on the line.

Next, the Seattle Seahawks soar into JerryWorld to combat the Dallas Cowboys at 8:15 pm EST. This NFC Wild Card clash will be shown on Fox, and will feature two young, mobile quarterbacks squaring off against a pair of stingy defenses.

On Sunday, CBS will broadcast the other AFC Wild Card playoff matchup, featuring the Los Angeles Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens at 1:05 pm EST. This game is a rematch of a Week 16 contest that Baltimore won on the road; although this time around, the Ravens will be at home.

Wrapping up Wild Card Weekend is a slugfest between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chicago Bears on NBC at 5:40 pm EST. The Eagles scratched and crawled their way back to the playoffs after winning the Super Bowl last year, whereas the Bears somewhat surprisingly ran away with the NFC North.
