In Week 13 of the fantasy football season, what can we expect from New England Patriots wide receiver, Josh Gordon?

The New England Patriots will be facing the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday and both teams are in need of wins. With the NFL Playoff picture heating up, the Patriots and the Vikings find themselves right in the mix in their respective conferences.

For fantasy purposes this will be a big game for owners of both players on the Vikings and Patriots. Even though the total might be a bit lower than expected, this still a prime spot for fantasy production.

One of the players that have been good for the Patriots has been wide receiver, Josh Gordon. Since coming over from the Cleveland Browns, Gordon has been very good for the Patriots. In eight games with the Patriots, Gordon has totaled 31 receptions, 547 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.

Coming to New England during the season is not an easy thing to do. The Patriots have the reputation for having a tough offense to learn, and by all accounts, Gordon has done well. Brady seems to have trust in Gordon already and that is a good indication of how well Gordon is doing.

Like most matchups for the Patriots, this is not an ideal matchup for Gordon against the Vikings. While the matchup isn’t ideal, Gordon has the capability to make some big plays and get his fantasy points up.

A lot will depend on who matches up against him, but Gordon might be able to exploit certain matchups. So far this season, Gordon is averaging 17.6 yards per catch, as he is certainly a big home run threat. Despite being a big play threat for New England, Gordon has been fairly consistent with at least four receptions in the last five games.

Projection: Four catches, 75 receiving yards.
