After his first game back against the New York Jets, New England Patriots tight end, Rob Gronkowski, is feeling good.

The New England Patriots got a big boost on Sunday against the New York Jets, as a tight end, Rob Gronkowski made his return after missing a few games.

When healthy, Gronkowski is the best tight end in the NFL, but the one thing that has slowed him down has been injuries. Over his career, Gronkowski has been hampered by injuries a few years, and this season has been a challenge for him.

Coming off a great 2017 season, we really haven’t seen a healthy Gronkowski much outside of Week 1. In that game against the Houston Texans, Gronkowski was able to total over 100 receiving yards along with a touchdown.

Since that game, Gronkowski was held without a touchdown catch until Week 12 against the Jets. With the Minnesota Vikings coming to town, Gronkowski spoke with Logan Mullen of NESN.com about how he was feeling after the win.

"“Good, I feel good. You know the football wear and tear and all that, you’re never going to leave a game going ‘ahaha,’” Gronkowski said while laughing and waving his hands around.“If you play a full game and you’re playing hard then (you’ll be sore), but other than that I feel good.”"

Against the Jets was the healthiest the Gronkowski has looked in a long time, as he was able to score a touchdown and record three receptions for 56 yards. Having a healthy Gronkowski on offense is huge for the Patriots, as it creates single coverage for all of the wide receivers.

As shown by how well Brady spread the ball around on Sunday, the Patriots were able to get players in favorable matchups, and let Brady pick and choose where he wanted to go with the ball.

With the Patriots hopeful to return to the Super Bowl this season, having a healthy Gronkowski might be a critical factor. New England has five games left this season, and will hopefully continue to see healthy Gronkowski on the field.
