The New England Patriots laid an egg against the Tennessee Titans in one of their worst games of the season.

After looking like they were really finding their groove as winners of six straight games, the New England Patriots did not look good against the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans came into this game highly motivated after a good game against the Dallas Cowboys, and Tennessee was able to have an even better performance against the Patriots. Tennessee came out very strong right away and took the lead at home.

With a good balance of run and pass, the Titans offense was able to keep the Patriots’ defense off balance. For the Patriots, that side of the ball certainly had a lot of problems, and was a main reason why the team found themselves trailing early.

Titans wide receiver, Corey Davis, was the main guy for the Titans in the passing attack, as he totaled over 100 receiving yards. The Patriots had Stephon Gilmore on Davis quite often, but he was unable to slow him down.

Marcus Mariota certainly looks healthy and had another solid game. On the ground, the Titans used their duo of Dion Lewis and Derrick Henry nicely. For the Patriots, this is certainly a discouraging loss. While the Titans aren’t a bad team, this was a very winnable game for New England.

Their problems on the road are now becoming apparent, as they have lost to the Titans, Jaguars, and Lions this season. With the Chiefs still doing well in terms of getting home-field advantage, the road might not go through New England this season if they drop another game.

The Patriots will be on their bye week in Week 11, and it comes at a good time. With Rob Gronkowski still banged up, the Patriots will hope that another week off with get him healthier. After the bye week, the Patriots will be traveling to New York to face the Jets.
