Over the past three weeks, New England Patriots wide receiver, Chris Hogan, has started to perform better.

The New England Patriots got off to a very slow start this season. With a 1-2 record after three games and two straight losses, there was a lot of panic in New England. To the surprise of many, the offense did not look good to start the season.

With Julian Edelman suspended, the Patriots knew that they would be a bit thin at the position to start the season. However, they thought that the combination of Chris Hogan and Phillip Dorsett would be enough to hold them over until Edelman returned.

That ended up not being the case for the Patriots. With the struggles on offense, the team went out and traded for Josh Gordon just prior to Edelman returning from his suspension. With both Edelman and Gordon on the team, it looked like Chris Hogan would become somewhat of an afterthought in the offense.

However, in the last three weeks, Hogan has actually performed quite well for the Patriots. Starting against the Kansas City Chiefs, Hogan totaled 4 catches for 78  receiving yards, which included a big 42-yard grab.

Against the Chicago Bears, Hogan totaled six receptions for 63 receiving yards, as he saw a few more targets with Rob Gronkowski out. On Monday Night Football, the Patriots offense might not have performed all that well, but Hogan still had a decent game with 49 receiving yards on two catches.

Hogan seems to be better suited as a third wide receiver for the Patriots compared to a number one or two. With three straight good games, it appears like Hogan is back on track after a slow start to the season. With a big game coming up on Sunday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers, Hogan will be poised for another good game in what can be a shootout.
