New England Patriots: James White continues his great play in Week 8

The New England Patriots were able to get a win against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. In the win, James White continued his great season.
On Monday Night Football, the New England Patriots were able to get their fifth straight win. Even though the Buffalo Bills are not a good team, winning division games on the road in primetime can be tricky.
That certainly was the case for the Patriots for much of this game. The Bills offense might not have had a good game, but their defense certainly came to play. The Patriots were held out of the end zone for the first half, and only scored one offensive touchdown in the game.
While it was not a pretty game on offense, the Patriots did have a couple of players that performed well. One of those players was once again running back, James White.
This season, White has been arguably the best offensive player on the Patriots not named Tom Brady. He has been a great receiver out of the backfield, and he was able to do that once on Monday.
In the win over the Bills, White totaled 10 receptions, 78 receiving yards, and was targeted 13 times. White made a couple of nice plays on third-down which helped keep drives alive, and he continues to be a favorite target of Brady.
With Sony Michel out, some thought that White would get a few more carries. However, the Patriots didn’t run White more, as he only totaled eight carries on the ground. However, White did account for the Patriots only offensive touchdown on the ground.
White has been a huge weapon for the Patriots this season and he came through with a big game in what was a struggle on offense for the most part. Since the Patriots have been on this winning streak, White has really been consistently great for the Patriots. On Monday, that remained true.
