4. Health is key

The New England Patriots could very well be without their 2 best offensive players on Monday night.

Running back Sony Michel left last Sunday’s game with an apparent knee/ankle injury. This injury was aggravated again after a few weeks of not bothering the rookie he is considered doubtful for the game.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski did not make the trip to Chicago last Sunday to take on the Bears. The reason behind the All-Pro tight end was his pre-existing ankle injury that has been injured before this season as well as the well-documented back issues he traveled this week, but his status is not yet known.

Wide receiver Chris Hogan also went down last week on Julian Edelman’s touchdown in the first quarter but then rebounded and went back into the game later on.

Even though the New England Patriots still won the game by seven points and it was a tough road game, not having 2 of those 3 players listed above could hurt the New England’s chances in the coming weeks.

As of this writing, there is no official word yet on whether or not Michel and Gronkowski will be playing Sunday or the extent of their injuries.
