The 5-2 New England Patriots will be going up against the 2-5 Buffalo Bills in a Week 8 match-up on Monday Night Football.

As the weather continues to get colder, the New England Patriots look to remain hot as they travel to Buffalo to face another division rival. The second quarter of the NFL season comes to a close when these two teams meet for the 117th time overall. The New England Patriots hold a record of 72-43-1 over the Buffalo Bills, including a season sweep last year.

The New England Patriots come into this Monday night game riding a three-game winning streak after defeating the Chicago Bears by a score of 38-31 last Sunday.

This hard fought, last second win was their first road win of the 2018 season. The seven-point win over the NFC North team improved their record to 5-2, giving them the 3rd best record in the NFL (Los Angeles Rams at 7-0 and Kansas City Chiefs at 6-1).

Despite quite a few errors in all three phases of the game last week, the New England Patriots still come into this game as favorites to win the game. Buffalo has struggled all season long and enter this game against their AFC East rival with a record of 2-5.

However, as seen during the seven games played this season, not every game is a guaranteed victory or a guaranteed loss for the New England Patriots.

In fact, most games are closer than the team would like which means that in order to keep the winning streak alive, there are 4 keys to victory for the Patriots on Monday Night Football against the Bills.
