With Week 8 of the fantasy football season here, what can we expect from New England Patriots wide receiver, Josh Gordon?

The New England Patriots went out and made a big splash earlier this season when they acquired wide receiver, Josh Gordon from the Cleveland Browns.

While Gordon has had a lot of issues off the field in his career, he is an extremely talented player when he is on the field. Early in the season, the Patriots clearly needed some help at the skill positions, especially at wide receiver. Tom Brady was lacking the weapons necessary to make plays, and getting Gordon looked like a great move on paper.

So far, Gordon has played well for the Patriots. While he hasn’t had a monster game yet, he has done a good job learning the offense, and there hasn’t been any talk of problems off the field. Coming to New England and learning the offense is not an easy thing to do, but Gordon has shown that he is putting in the work and picking it up rather quickly.

In the last two games, Gordon has really started to pick it up in terms of production. After catching his first touchdown pass against the Indianapolis Colts, Gordon saw nine targets in the win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Last week against the Bears, Gordon had his best game of the season against a very good defense. Without Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots didn’t lack the necessary weapons to pull out the win. Against the Bears, Gordon totaled 100 receiving yards on four catches, as it was his best game of the season.

While the Bills might not have allowed a lot of fantasy points to receivers yet this season, that will likely change on Monday night. After his best game with the Patriots, Gordon will be looking to build on that in primetime.

Projection: 5 catches,90 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown.
