4.   Other players on offense need to step up

For the last 5 weeks, the New England Patriots top weapons for Brady have been Michel, White, Gronkowski and as of last week, Edelman. That is it, only those 4 players have been consistent go to players for Brady. Yes, Josh Gordon has gotten into the mix along with Cordarelle Patterson and Phillip Dorsett but it has not been as consistent. This could be the perfect game for other players to get open looks and gain more trust from Brady that they can be reliable when called upon.

Despite having an undefeated record in 2018, the Chiefs defense give up a lot of yards to opposing offenses. Through the air, they have been giving up 343 yards and because the New England Patriots are a pass first offense, this could be a recipe of success for the home team.

So, if the next tier of offensive weapons like Patterson, Dorsett, Gordon and the forgotten Chris Hogan want to get back into the mix for Josh McDaniels’ offense, Sunday would be that game.
