3.   Breakout game for Gronk

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is on the cusp of having that breakout game in the 2018 NFL season. Over the last 5 games he has caught a total of 23 passes (7 in week 1, 2 in week 2, 4 in week 3, 4 in week 4 and 6 in week 5) for a total of 308 yards (123, 15, 51, 44 and 75) and just 1 touchdown. These numbers, especially in weeks 2 and 3 certainly are not Gronkowski-like numbers because he is such an intimidating force on the field. Also, he is so difficult to cover because you cannot put a linebacker or safety on him as he is so strong and fast that he can beat that one on coverage with ease.

However, despite have a couple of good games, he has not been as dominant on the field as of late. Could it be that teams are finally figuring out how to keep Gronkowski from lighting up the scoreboard for the New England Patriots? Another possibility is that the tight end could be battling some injuries as he has had a history with injuries. Whatever the reason is, Gronkowski needs to have that breakout game which will help get him back on track because he does not look like the same player.
