1.  Welcome back Julian Edelman

After missing the last 20 games due to injury and suspension, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman made a triumphant return to the lineup. It was really good to see Edelman back on the field as his absence was sorely missed last year and the beginning of this season. The New England offense really had some tough time finding a consistent offensive attack (aside from last week) while Edelman was waiting to come back.

One thing that was brought to attention was how fast the offense moved last night as the offense went with the no huddle offense for a good portion of the game. Could this be because of Julian Edelman?

Right off the bat, on the Patriots first possession, Tom Brady found Edelman on a quick throw for 9 yards. He eventually finished the game with 7 catches for 51 yards and was shook the rust off (aside from one crucial drop) in a hurry.

Edelman also returned to special teams, something that has hurt the New England Patriots all season. Also, with him back in the lineup, the offense was more of a pass first offense all night. All in all, it was a successful return to the field for Edelman.
