2.   Sony Michel show premiering in primetime?

Running back Sony Michel took some time to get going this season after missing the preseason with a knee injury. Right off the bat, the offense put the ball in to his hands and he was called upon to carry the load on the ground. Last week was his breakout game against the Miami Dolphins.

Against their banged up defense, Michel ran the ball 25 times and racked up 112 yards with his longest run of the afternoon going for 23 yards. He reached the end zone just one time but he went over the 100-yard mark for the first time this season which was an accomplishment in and of itself.

The Indianapolis Colts run defense ranks 17th in the league and they have been averaging 109 yards per game. New England has not given up on the running game even when it struggled bad against Jacksonville and Detroit. As a result of this, expect Michel to have similar touches Thursday night and he could reach 100 yards yet again.
