2. Josh Gordon sighting?

Despite having Rob Gronkowski, James White, Sony Michel, Chris Hogan, Rex Burkhead (before his injury), Cordarrelle Patterson and Philip Dorsett, the New England offense has missed that explosive weapon.

Even though Julian Edelman is returning from his suspension, the Patriots still went out to find that receiver for Tom Brady. Former Cleveland Brown Josh Gordon was that guy they targeted. Last week, Gordon was inactive against Detroit just days after landing with the team. He was activated this week against Miami and even saw some playing time.

His first piece of action that he saw in a Patriots uniform was in the first quarter on the opening drive. His 3 and 6 slant reception for a first down set up the offense first and goal. The crowd roared from his first catch as a Patriot.

Gordon then received another ovation from the crowd later in the game when he caught yet another first down pass from Brady and almost slipped away for a long touchdown. It was a refreshing sight to see Gordon play well in his first game and finished the game with two catches for 32 yards. It is good to see him on the field and things should only keep getting better.
