3. Rob Gronkowski

Tight end is deeper this season than in years past. However, Gronkowski is still the cream of the crop. He is one of the top priced tight ends in daily games, but he could be worth the hefty price because of the matchup he has this weekend.

Last season, Houston struggled against opposing tight ends. They allowed 922 yards to tight ends, which was the sixth most yards allowed in the league. The nine touchdowns they allowed to tight ends tied for the third most in the league. In addition, they gave up the sixth most receptions, surrendering 81 total.

Given that performance from last season, Gronkowski should be licking his chops for this matchup. When healthy, Gronkowski is the most dominant tight end in the NFL and possibly ever. The Texans will have their hands full attempting to slow him down in Week 1.

In four games against the Texans in his career, Gronkowski has played well. He has averaged 75.8 yards per game, scoring three touchdowns as well. Expect both of those numbers to be improved upon in a big way in this matchup.
