4. DeAndre Hopkins

The Patriots ended last season on a low note in Super Bowl 52, losing to the Eagles. A big reason for the loss was their inability to slow down the Eagles’ passing game. Philadelphia doesn’t have a receiver as dominant as Hopkins, so New England will have their hands full.

No matter who has been under center for Houston, Hopkins has produced. He is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and is a must-start in any format in fantasy football.

The matchup between Stephon Gilmore and Hopkins will be a lot of fun to watch. Expect the Texans to scheme some plays for Hopkins to avoid matching up with Gilmore. Without Malcolm Butler opposite of him, the Patriots pass defense isn’t as strong as it was last season. With second-round pick Duke Dawson going on IR, the Patriots secondary is even thinner.

Jason McCourty could see some time at cornerback again after being announced as a safety. Eric Rowe will also play a big role. However, unless it is Gilmore matching up with Hopkins, he could have a field day against the Patriots secondary.

Start Hopkins with confidence in season-long leagues or daily fantasy leagues.
