The New England Patriots were able to win their second straight game in the preseason. Here are three players who stood out.

In a preseason Super Bowl rematch, the New England Patriots were able to get some revenge on the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. Even though the Patriots would have much rather won the game in February, they will certainly take this win.

While wins and losses in the preseason mean little, the Patriots looked very good against the Eagles. The coaching staff will likely be very pleased with how the Patriots came out, took control early, and never looked back.

After forcing a quick three and out, the Patriots’ offense and Tom Brady took the field and set the tone for the rest of the game. There were some concerns about Brady’s back last week, but those were all put to rest.

Unfortunately for the Patriots, they suffered another potentially big injury, as a first-round pick, Isaiah Wynn went down with what was being called an ankle injury. Wynn had to be carted to the locker room, and hopefully the injury isn’t too severe.

Despite the injury to Wynn, the Patriots looked great in this game and appear to be ready for the start of the season. With two games to go, the Patriots will surely fix up a few minor things before the season starts.
