New England Patriots: Analyzing the offensive line for 2018
By Laith Malhas
Center
David Andrews has been a model of consistency for the offensive line, the undrafted center was picked up by New England in 2015 when he found a football home.
Andrews proved he belonged after being challenged for the position various times throughout his tenure with the Patriots. He ultimately won the position, playing center in two Super Bowls and winning one when the Patriots overcame the Atlanta Falcons in overtime.
The 300 pound center compensates whatever he lacks in athleticism with his high football IQ, especially his solid fundamentals in the interior of the offensive line.
He is a solid blocker who is able to adjust while under pressure, Andrews also has a reputable work ethic which is one of the reasons he was named a team captain. New England has a diamond in the rough at center, Andrews continues to improve with each following year and nothing seems to be hindering his rise.
