6. Malcolm Brown, Defensive Tackle

The athletic big man is quickly becoming one of the best defensive tackles on the roster. Brown has consistently improved year after year in New England’s system.

Brown has the ability to carve up opposing linemen, however, faces difficulty when double teamed at times. Although the Patriots defensive tackles are not elite, they can do damage as an overall talented group given their differing skill sets and strengths.

He accounted for 29 total tackles with 49 combined, 2.5 sacks for 2017. Brown will be entering his fourth season playing for New England, his improvement will be vital in strengthening the rush attack on the defensive front.

The future looks bright for the 24-year old. Alongside Danny Shelton and Lawrence Guy, this group could prove formidable.
