New England Patriots: Tom Brady, Bill Belichick ripped by Terrell Owens
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick were ripped apart by Terrell Owens.
The New England Patriots have drawn the ire of plenty of players and teams in recent years. The way that New England conducts business can sometimes rub people the wrong way. The Patriots way is not for everyone.
The Patriots will push the envelope, just as every team in the league does. Sometimes they have gone a little too far and the league has punished them for it. The Spygate scandal and Deflategate involving Tom Brady are two that always come to mind.
While they broke the rules in those instances, the Patriots have still been as dominant as any team over much of the past two decades.
Since the Bill Belichick and Brady duo has taken over, New England has found plenty of success. They have made it to eight Super Bowls, winning five of them. They are the epitome of success and consistency.

Despite paying the price for the rules violations, some people just won’t let it go. One of those people is Hall of Fame bound wide receiver, Terrell Owens.
Recently, Owens was videoed playing basketball against former NBA player and current Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach, Sam Cassell. After seemingly defeating Cassell, Owens trashed talk him and took a shot at the Patriots as well.
"“I beat you, Sam. I beat you. I beat you. I ain’t cheat you. You sound like the Patriots. I don’t care about the Patriots,” Owens said at the end of a rant, via TMZ Sports. “Belichick, Brady—they cheaters. They cheated. They cheated.”"
Here is the video showing Owens and Cassell from TMZ Sports.
Despite not playing in the NFL since 2010, Owens has found ways to keep himself in the news. The video is the latest. Owens also drew attention when he decided to decline an invitation to the Hall of Fame ceremony. As a result, the NFL will not be bringing him up or acknowledging him individually at the ceremony.
Owens has also discussed a possible comeback to the NFL. Despite being 44 years old, it is clear that Owens still has some athleticism left in the tank from various videos.

However, getting back into the NFL is another thing than playing in exhibition games. One thing is for sure, if Owens indeed finds a team willing to take a chance on him, it will not be the Patriots. After what he said, it is safe to say he won’t be receiving calls anytime soon from New England.
