The NFL Top 100 players list was recently released, and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took the top spot of the second year in a row.

The New England Patriots might have fallen short in Super Bowl 52 last season, but there is no doubt that they still have one of the best players in the league on their team. At 40-years-old, Tom Brady was able to have another fantastic season for the Patriots.

Despite being suspended for the first four games of the season in 2016, Brady was able to put together an MVP-caliber season. Even though he fell short in the voting to Matt Ryan, Brady had one of the best seasons of his career.

Ultimately, Brady was able to get the last laugh, as he defeated Matt Ryan in the Super Bowl to win his fifth ring. Also, Brady took home Super Bowl MVP honors in that game.

In 2017, Brady once again had a fantastic season. Brady was able to total 32 passing touchdowns, 4.577 passing yards, and just eight interceptions. Brady was able to take home the NFL MVP award, and it was well-deserved.

During the playoffs, Brady continued his strong play, as he totaled eight passing touchdowns and 1,132 passing yards. Despite losing in the Super Bowl, Brady had a great game, as he totaled over 500 passing yards.

Recently, the Top 100 players in the league were announced, and for the second straight season, Tom Brady was ranked first.

This is another great accomplishment in the career of Brady, as being the best player in the league at 40-years-old is a remarkable feat. With no signs of slowing down yet, Brady will be hoping to get the Patriots back to the playoffs on his quest for a sixth ring. With the best player in the league once again, the Patriots will have a good chance of getting a sixth ring.
