New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is predicted to have another big season in 2018.

The New England Patriots have had a luxury not many teams in the NFL have had over the past two decades. With Tom Brady under center, the Patriots have put together one of the most impressive sustained periods of success in NFL history.

Brady has put himself atop the discussion for greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL. Brady’s resume is absolutely loaded. He has been named to the Pro Bowl 13 times, won five Super Bowls, three MVP’s, three All-Pro nominations and even took home Comeback Player of the Year in 2009 after tearing his ACL in 2008.

All of the awards are impressive, but arguably most impressive is his longevity and sustained performance. Brady won the MVP award at 40-years old in 2017. He threw for 505 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 52.

At 40-years old, Brady completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 4,577 yards, 32 touchdowns and only eight interceptions. The 4,577 yards led the NFL, as well as his 581 attempted passes.

Performing at that level, at that age, is extremely impressive. Father Time is undefeated, but he is having a tough time slowing down Brady. Brady expects to play for multiple more seasons, and he has shown no signs of slowing down. It is unlikely to happen in 2018 either, according to Bleacher Report.

Bleacher Report recently put together an article predicting the stats for each starting quarterback in the NFL in 2018. Brady is predicted to not only sustain his success at 41-years old, he is expected to improve in some areas.

Brady is predicted to complete 67.2 percent of his passes, going 393-for-585 for 4,605 yards, 32 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. The interceptions are the only stat that Brady is predicted to perform worse during the 2018 season compared to the 2017 season. It would be the first time that Brady threw double-digit interceptions since 2013 when he had 11.

If Brady hits these predictions, he should be in the running for the MVP award once again. If Brady plays at that level, the Patriots should challenge for the Super Bowl again as well.
