After Memorial Day Weekend, the New England Patriots will be back at OTA’s this week. Here is a schedule of their practices.

The New England Patriots will be back in action for their second week of OTA’s, as they look to continue their offseason activities. Last week, the Patriots were noticeably without two of their stars, as Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were both absent.

For Gronkowski, him skipping the OTA’s was to be expected, as he seeks to rework his contract. As of now, the Patriots and Gronkowski have yet to reach an agreement. Like last season, the Patriots will likely be looking to try and get Gronkowski some more incentives in his deal to help get his contract number up.

For Brady, at over 40-years-old, him skipping OTA’s isn’t too big of a deal. Brady has already committed to playing this season. Brady has been enjoying the offseason, but he will surely be ready to go come minicamp.

With the short holiday week, the Patriots will hold three practices this week.

Wednesday (Closed Practice)

Thursday (Open to Media)

Friday (Closed Practice)

Since Brady and Gronkowski both skipped the first week of OTA’s, it would be surprising to see them back there this week. However, if Gronkowski does get a new deal this week, he could possibly make an appearance.

The Patriots will be holding their mandatory minicamp starting on June 5th. Both Gronkowski and Brady should be in attendance for that. However, with them both likely out this week, some of their young players will continue to get some extra reps.

Even though their two stars haven’t been in attendance for OTA’s, it has been good to see players like Julian Edelman and Dont’a Hightower back with the team. Injuries got to both of them last season, and they are key contributors for the team heading into 2018.
