After a trade with the San Francisco 49ers, here is the updated list of draft picks for the New England Patriots on Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

Day 2 of the 2018 NFL Draft will be starting at 7 p.m. once again on Friday night, as teams will be making their second and third round selections including the New England Patriots. The first round of the draft was certainly exciting as we saw some trades early on and some big surprises.

For the Patriots, they did indeed use both of their draft picks in the first round and made some nice upgrades for their offense. With their first pick, the Patriots added Georgia guard/tackle Isaiah Wynn. Shortly after with the 31st pick, they added Wynn’s teammate in running back Sony Michel.

After the first round, the Patriots were slated to have three draft picks on Day 2 with two in the second round and one in the third round. Due to a recent trade with the San Francisco 49ers, the Patriots had to send their third-round pick to the 49ers in exchange for tackle Trent Brown.

Brown should provide the Patriots with even more offensive line depth, as the additions of Wynn and Brown have added two starting caliber players for the Patriots’ offensive line. Now that the offensive line is set for the Patriots, they will be focusing on getting the most of their two picks on Day 2. Here are the two selections that the Patriots currently have going into Day 2

Round 2:

Pick 11, 43rd overall

Pick 31, 63rd overall

Since the Patriots only have the two picks in the second round until they pick again in the fifth round, they could certainly look to move one of these picks to acquire some more picks in the middle rounds.
