Buffalo Bills No. 7: Wyoming QB, Josh Allen

The first trade of the day doesn’t take too long, as the Buffalo Bills decided to move up like many expected. Even though they didn’t jump up as high as many expected, the Bills did get up high enough to take their quarterback.

With both Josh Allen and Josh Rosen falling outside the Top 5, the Bills saw an opportunity to jump in and select the man they hope will be their next franchise guy. With the seventh pick, they hope that Josh Allen will be that man.

Not too many days ago, there was some serious talk that Josh Allen might be the first overall pick in the NFL Draft. Even though he played at a small school, there is no denying the physical tools of Allen. With the ability to throw the ball to the moon, Allen is one most appealing quarterbacks in the draft this year.

For the Bills, drafting a quarterback that has a strong arm to combat the awful weather in Buffalo was needed. Allen should be able to handle the bad weather in Buffalo without a problem. The Bills certainly needed a quarterback in this draft, and the price to move up to get Allen wasn’t awful since he slipped outside the Top 5. Overall, good pick by the Bills.
