JAX No.29: Texas OT Connor Williams

One of the biggest surprises in the 2017 season was the performance of the Jacksonville Jaguars. After a strong offseason that saw a few great additions on the defensive side of the ball, the Jaguars had one of the best defenses in the league last season. With a strong defense, the Jaguars were able to make it to the AFC Championship Game, and they certainly gave the Patriots a run for their money.

While the defense for the Jaguars should be elite once again next season, there is still room for improvement on the offensive side of the ball. With the 29th overall pick, the Jaguars will look to bolster their offensive line with the addition of offensive tackle, Connor Williams.

With a great young running back in Leonard Fournette, having good blocking for him will be important for years to come. Having a strong offensive line will translate into a good rushing attack, and that was a formula for success in Jacksonville. Williams would be a good addition for the Jaguars, as he can help the offensive line and hopefully get the Jaguars back to the AFC Title Game.
