Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado

One of the most bizarre stories in the 2017 season came in the Super Bowl. Despite being a starter all season for the Patriots, the team decided to bench Malcolm Butler. As a free agent at the end of the season, it was clear that Butler would not be back with the Patriots after the benching in the Super Bowl. As expected, Butler ended up leaving and signing with the Tennessee Titans.

To replace Butler, the Patriots added Jason McCourty in a trade. McCourty is the twin brother of Patriots safety Devin and is a good addition on paper. While McCourty will help replace Butler, the Patriots could use another cornerback, as their depth at the position was exploited in the Super Bowl last season.

At 23, Isaiah Oliver of Colorado could be a target for the Patriots. With a good amount of depth at the cornerback position in this draft, the Patriots will have a few good ones to choose from. Oliver has a lot of potential with his great size and speed at the next level and could have a nice impact right away for New England.
