On Thursday, for the first time since September 29th, the Patriots had every player participate in practice. While the injury report wasn’t empty, it was encouraging that everyone got on the field. One of the players that returned to the field was wide receiver, Chris Hogan.

Hogan has been in and out of the lineup throughout the regular season. He appeared in only nine games, missing seven because of a shoulder injury. He originally injured the shoulder against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8, but immediately aggravated it upon his return in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins.

Hogan has been sidelined ever since but looks like he could get back on the field against the Titans this weekend. Hogan will be welcomed back with open arms, as the Patriots offense becomes much more versatile with Hogan in the fold.

With Hogan available, Josh McDaniels can open things up in three and four wide receiver sets. Hogan also gives Tom Brady an insurance blanket over the middle of the field.

Like Van Noy, Hogan is worth watching because of his injuries this season. Can he give the Patriots a full game? Will there be any rust after missing the final four games of the regular season? It is all things we will find out Saturday evening.
