Jurrell Casey

The Titans defense is a rather unheralded group. There aren’t many names that the casual football fan would recognize, but they have some players that can change the tide of a game. One of those players is Jurrell Casey.

Casey is a difference maker in the middle of the Titans’ defensive line. He finished the regular season with 60 tackles, six sacks, seven tackles for loss, one pass defended and one forced fumble. He made his presence felt against the Chiefs as well.

In his first career playoff game, Casey played a great game. He finished with a modest four tackles, but one was a tackle for loss. He also recorded three hurries and quarterback pressures as he was constantly collapsing the pocket and living in the Chiefs backfield. He even defended a pass for good measure.

Casey is a player the Patriots have to slow down in the middle. He can be a real thorn in the side of New England’s offense if they do not find and block him.

Casey has proven to be disruptive in both the running and passing game. He is a dominant run defender, so when he is disrupting the passing game as well he is a true difference maker.
