Belichick and Goodell Meeting

The ESPN article mentions briefly how Belichick and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell “have become good friends”, which could have truth behind it. But the following claim has zero.

"“The two men had a long and private meeting, which two sources told ESPN occurred during the off week after the regular season, when the commissioner visited Foxborough.”"

The NFL’s spokesman and communications consultant, Joe Lockhart, has already commented and denied these claims, mentioning the meeting might have happened last year.

"“That happened last year, not within the past week.”"
