New England Patriots: Plenty of questions heading into matchup vs Buffalo Bills

The Patriots got edge rusher Trey Flowers back from an ankle injury against Pittsburgh and his presence and leadership were desperately needed. He leads the team with 6.5 sacks in 12 games and bolstered the run defense on the left side. In the first match-up against Buffalo, Flowers was out due to injury.

Tyrod Taylor will be using his quickness and ability to escape pressure to get away from the New England pass rush and make plays downfield.

Flowers and the young edge rushers (Deatrich Wise and Eric Lee) must play disciplined on Sunday and not push upfield past the play and allow Taylor to escape pressure and extend the play or pick up first downs with his legs.

Flowers, Lee and Wise need to make a big impact in the game by winning some one-on-one battles on the edge and keeping Taylor contained in the pocket. When they have a chance, they need to bring him down and create negative plays.
