WHO NEEDS TO STEP UP?

The last time the Patriots faced the Bills, quarterback Tyrod Taylor ended the first drive of the game with a heart-wrenching interception. On that first drive, Taylor and the Bills passed for 35 yards. Taylor had just 30 more yards passing for the rest of the game before leaving injured at the beginning of the fourth quarter, reaggravating an injury he suffered on the first drive.

The Bills will have to throw the football to win in New England. ANY TEAM coming to New England has to throw to win. They ran gadget plays with Joe Webb, they threw the ball to Travaris Cadet out of the backfield, but the wide receivers caught just five passes on 19 targets for just 57 yards.

Stephon Gilmore and the New England secondary bullied the Bills receivers after the first drive and took them out of the game.

With Kelvin Benjamin questionable and a game-time decision–and unknown if he is healthy enough to contribute if in the game–the Bills need rookie Zay Jones and veterans Deonte Thompson, Brandon Tate, and Andre Holmes to find a way to make plays against New England.
