The New England Patriots are rolling as they head into Week 13. The Patriots are in a daunting stretch of games against divisional opponents and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team that will try knocking them off course this week is their AFC East rivals, the Buffalo Bills.

The Patriots and Bills are facing off for the first time this season. Last season the teams split the season series. The Bills won the first matchup in Foxboro, but in that game, New England was without Tom Brady. Brady was in the lineup for the second matchup in Orchard Park and the Patriots blew the Bills out.

Brady will be in the lineup, so the Bills will have their hands full this time around. This is a big game for both teams for numerous reasons.

For the Patriots, this is the first game of a three-game road trip. They want to get the road trip started off on the right foot with a victory. The Patriots are undefeated this season on the road, so you know they will be prepared for the game. They are also on a seven-game winning streak.

If they are able to extend that winning streak and the undefeated road streak, the Patriots would essentially wrap up the AFC East. That is what the Bills are playing for, to stay alive in the AFC East and the AFC playoff picture, in general.

The Bills are currently tied with the Baltimore Ravens with a 6-5 record. However, the Ravens are in the sixth and final playoff spot because of tiebreakers. If the Bills want to keep pace or move into that sixth spot, a victory over the Patriots would help immensely.

Will they be able to pull off the upset against the red-hot Patriots, or will the Patriots keep rolling and hurt the Bills playoff chances? There are a number of players that will play a role in that.
