The New England Patriots kept the good times rolling. Despite leaving the United States to play in Week 11, and being on the road for the second consecutive game, the Patriots still rolled to a victory. This time, the victims were the Oakland Raiders.

The Patriots would demolish the Raiders 33-8. The Patriots were able to keep the Raiders off balance on both sides of the ball and it resulted in a one-sided affair. The Patriots got the first score of the game with just over four minutes remaining in the first quarter and never looked back.

However, the Raiders did look like they were close to making it a game prior to the half. Oakland was bleeding the clock and driving. The Patriots thrive in end of first half situations, scoring points before halftime and getting the ball back in the second half to bury the opponent. The Raiders looked to had other plans, and then a fumble occurred.

Seth Roberts fumbled inside the five-yard line fighting for extra yardage despite already having the first down. The Patriots would recover it and subsequently march down the field for a field goal before halftime.
