In Week 11, the 2017 fantasy football season will be getting closer and closer to the playoffs. What can owners expect from Tom Brady against the Oakland Raiders?

With the fantasy football season coming to a close, owners are preparing for the playoff push. One of the games that could be a fantasy football owners delight is the matchup between the New England Patriots and the Oakland Raiders.

Coming into the season, this game looked like it would have huge implications on the AFC playoff picture. However, the Raiders have not done as well this season as many expected and they are fighting for a playoff spot rather than being one of the elite teams in the AFC.

Despite the Raiders struggling this season, this will surely be an entertaining game to watch in Mexico. As one of the projected top scoring games of the week, owners of players on the Patriots will likely be in position for a good week.

Of course, one of the top fantasy options for the week will be Tom Brady. At 40-years-old, the Patriots have gone all in with Brady for the future after trading Jimmy Garoppolo prior to the deadline. With the way Brady has played this season, it is hard to blame them.

Last week, Brady went into Denver and came out with a big win. Against a good defense in a city that has caused him problems in the past, Brady played excellent. In the win against the Broncos, Brady totaled 266 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. Considering how Brady has historically struggled in Denver, this was certainly a nice surprise for fantasy owners.

Against the Raiders in Week 11, Brady will be expected to have another big game, as the Raiders’ defense doesn’t pose much of a threat. With the offensive line doing a much better job protecting Brady in recent weeks, there is no reason not to expect him to have a nice game for fantasy owners.

Projection: 315 passing yards and three passing touchdowns.
