The New England Patriots host the Los Angeles Chargers at Gillette Stadium on October 29th, 2017. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.

The New England Patriots will be hosting the Los Angeles Chargers for a Week 8 matchup in Foxboro. It is a matchup between two of the hottest teams in the NFL as both come into the game on nice winning streaks.

The Patriots come into Week 8 with a record of 5-2, riding a three-game winning streak. The Chargers enter the game 3-4, riding a three-game winning streak of their own. Something will have to give this afternoon.

With both teams playing so well, fans can expect a great game to be played. New England will once again rely on the arm of Tom Brady, who has shown no signs of slowing down despite being 40-years old.

Brady once again has a ton of weapons surrounding him. Rob Gronkowski is someone that could be busy today, as the Chargers have two strong corners in Casey Hayward and Trevor Williams that lock down the perimeter of the field.

More from Patriots News

The Chargers have a tight end of their own that will present some problems. Hunter Henry has taken over as the main man at tight end, as the Hall of Fame-bound Antonio Gates has taken a backseat.

The Patriots pass defense has been suspect all season, but their rush defense hasn’t been much better. Improvement will be tough to come by with their leader defensively, Dont’a Hightower, out for this game and possibly the season with a shoulder injury.

It will take a team effort to replace Hightower and slow down the talented Melvin Gordon. Keeping Gordon in check will be a major determining factor in whether or not the Patriots can come away with their fourth consecutive victory, or the Chargers making it back to the .500 mark.
