Los Angeles Chargers Tight End, Hunter Henry

Hunter Henry started the season in rough shape. He was not targeted in two of the first three games of the season, as the Chargers used him more as a blocker. The encouraging sign was that he was targeted seven times in the game in between. In Week 4 he caught only two passes for 16 yards but salvaged the week with a touchdown.

Those days finally look to be behind Henry, as he has become a big part of the Chargers offense in recent weeks. He has seen his targets increase, which has resulted in more production. The biggest takeaway is that the tight end spot finally looks to be his.

The Chargers have an All-Time great in Antonio Gates at tight end and looked hesitant to push him to the side. That is no longer, the case, as Henry is getting a bulk of the snaps, which is what fantasy football owners want to see.

Henry is a top tight end option in Week 8 against the Patriots. New England has struggled to defend tight ends all season, allowing the sixth-most fantasy football points to tight ends this season.
