The New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons in their Super Bowl 52 rematch. Here are some team grades for the Patriots from the win.

The New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons faced off in a SUper Bowl 52 rematch on Sunday Night Football in Week 7. Like Super Bowl 52, the Patriots defeated the Falcons, leaving them with plenty of questions to be answered.

In February, the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead as the Patriots wound up winning in overtime on the backs of a 31-0 run. There was no need for a comeback this time around, as the Patriots put the game away in the second quarter.

New England blocked a Matt Bryant field goal attempt near the end of the first quarter and that turned the tide of the whole game. On the ensuing drive, the Patriots would score a touchdown and it was quickly downhill from there for Atlanta.

The Patriots would go on to score 10 more points in the second quarter, taking a 17-0 lead into halftime. Bryant would miss a field goal on the Falcons first drive of the second half, which the Patriots followed up with a field goal of their own.

Atlanta would drive again after that only to be stuffed at the goal line. Again, the Patriots would follow it up with a score of their own, taking a 20-0 lead. The Falcons would eventually get on the scoreboard with Matt Ryan finding Julio Jones for a touchdown with 4:09 remaining in the game.

That score snapped the Patriots personal 51-0 scoring streak against the Falcons. With the victory, the Patriots move to 5-2 on the season, while Atlanta drops to 3-3, as they have lost three consecutive games.

A shutout would have been nice, but it was a dominant performance from the Patriots in every facet of the game. Check out our Patriots team grades from the victory over the Falcons.
