Who were the winners and losers from the New England Patriots victory over the New York Jets in Week 6?

The New England Patriots played another hard-fought game in Week 6, this time against the New York Jets. The Jets have been competitive against the Patriots in games at the Meadowlands, and this weekend’s game was no different.

New York came out ready to play, as they looked to add some legitimacy to their start to the season. The Jets roared out to a 14-0 lead, so the Patriots had to show some adversity to get the victory. After that, New England dominated.

The Patriots were able to escape from MetLife Stadium with a 24-17 victory. They should consider themselves lucky, as the referees handed them a gift on what looked like an Austin Seferian-Jenkins touchdown in the fourth quarter, which would have put a lot of pressure on New England.

With the loss, the Patriots snapped the Jets three-game winning streak, running their own winning streak to two games. It was not the cleanest game played by New England, as it took them more than a quarter to get things going. The Jets had some opportunities prior to halftime to really put the Patriots in a hole but were unable to take advantage.

With the victory, the Patriots move into sole possession of first place, moving to 4-2 on the season and 3-0 on the road. The Jets record drops to 3-3, as this was the first loss of the season at MetLife Stadium.

It was a fun game for the fans, as the AFC East division rivals had an entertaining game. The Patriots are happy to move to 4-2 on the season, as some people stepped up while others disappointed.
