In Week 6, the New England Patriots will be playing the New York Jets in a surprising battle between two 3-2 teams.

The New England Patriots head to East Rutherford, NJ to face the New York Jets in their first game against an AFC East opponent. The Jets have been a surprise in 2017 winning three straight games to sit tied atop of the AFC East with New England and the Buffalo Bills.

This starts the tough stretch for the Jets as they face the two teams who represented their respective conferences in Super Bowl 51 this month sandwiched around games against their other AFC East rivals. These next four games will show whether the Jets are truly contenders or just pretenders.

For the Patriots, their defense has been the talk of the early part of the season as they have allowed over 400 total yards of offense in each game this season. On offense, quarterback Tom Brady has withstood a shaky offensive line to will the team to three victories early in the season.

There are a number of factors that will go into whether the Patriots will win, whether the New York Jets will pull the upset, who needs to step up for New England on Sunday, what is the hidden factor that will impact the game, and what will actually happen on Sunday.
