The New England Patriots were able to get a much-needed win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Here are four takeaways from the win.

On a short week, the New England Patriots were able to travel to Tampa Bay and get a big win against the Buccaneers. As a talented team in the NFC South, this was not an easy game on paper for the Patriots.

To start the game, things weren’t looking good for New England. Early on, Tom Brady threw his first interception of the season, and Brandin Cooks had a costly drop. On the defensive side of the ball, Doug Martin looked like he was going to have a monster day against the Patriots’ defense.

However, the Patriots ended up playing just fine on offense and their defense came through with their best performance of the season. As expected, it ended up being a close game. The Buccaneers looked really lost on offense at times in this game, but they were able to make a push at the end of the game to have a chance.

The Patriots were able to get a stop with the game on the line and improve to 3-2. This was certainly a big win for the Patriots, as they wanted to avoid dropping to below .500. It certainly ended up being a good game for the Patriots, as there were a lot of positives to take away from the game. Here are four takeaways from the win over Tampa Bay.
