9.) Detroit Lions (1-0)

After a good 2016 season, the Lions got off to a nice start in 2017. At home, the Lions were able to defeat the Cardinals with another big 4th quarter. Matthew Stafford played well in his first game since his monster contract extension. The Lions once again have hopes of competing for an NFC North Title. Their win in Week 1 was a step in the right direction for that goal.

8.) Seattle Seahawks (0-1)

It was not a pretty Week 1 for the Seahawks on the road against the Packers. In a highly anticipated game, the Seahawks’ offense really struggled. Considering that not too many believe the Packers have an elite defense, this was a disappointing showing for the Seahawks on the road. Despite the loss, the Seahawks are still one of the top teams in the NFC.

7.) Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0)

Another one of the top teams that just barely survived was the Steelers. While road division games are never easy, the Steelers sure did have a tough time against the Browns. Coming into the game, Le’Veon Bell was projected to be one of the best fantasy plays of the week. However, the Steelers used him very sparingly in Week 1. When Bell gets more touches, the Steelers offense should look a lot better.
