3.) New England Patriots (0-1)

Even though the Patriots suffered a bad loss in Week 1, they were still the best team coming into the season, and one loss shouldn’t make them free fall in the power rankings. Next week, the Patriots will have a great opportunity to bounce back against the New Orleans Saints. After a poor showing against the Minnesota Vikings, the Patriots should be able to bounce back in a big way against New Orleans.

2.) Oakland Raiders (1-0)

One of the most impressive wins of the week was the Oakland Raiders going on the road to Tennessee and coming out with a win. Many people believe that the Titans are ready to make a big step forward this season. While that still may be true, the Raiders certainly made a statement with a nice road win to start the season. As one of the top teams in the AFC, the Raiders proved it in Week 1.

1.) Green Bay Packers (1-0)

The marquee game of the Week 1 was the showdown between the Packers and the Seahawks. After a quiet first half, the Packers were able to take control of the game on offense and get a big win against the Seahawks. This game very well could have been an NFC Playoff matchup, and the Packers getting the win was important.
