Week 7: Home vs. Atlanta Falcons

After two straight games on the road, the New England Patriots will be back home in Week 7 for one of the most anticipated games of the season. On Sunday Night Football, we will finally get our Super Bowl rematch, as the Falcons travel to New England to face the Patriots.

This is sure to be a great game after what we saw in the Super Bowl last season. For much of that game, the Falcons were in control and were the better team. However, the Patriots pulled off the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history and won their fifth title.

Luckily for the Falcons, most of their core is back from the team last season. While the loss of Kyle Shanahan as their offensive coordinator will hurt, having Matt Ryan and Julio Jones on the team should be able to ease that pain.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see the Falcons come out with a lot of fire in this game. After losing the way they did in the Super Bowl last season, they likely want revenge on the Patriots. However, this game is at home for New England, and that is a huge advantage. Despite likely wanting to get revenge, the Falcons won’t be able to do that on the road.

Prediction: Falcons 27 Patriots 31
