With the preseason over, we predict who will make the New England Patriots’ final 53-man roster.

At last, we are less than one week from the New England Patriots first game of the 2017 regular season. It’s been a long road; from organized team activities to minicamp, to training camp, to the preseason, and now Week 1.

Following the Patriots final preseason game on Thursday night, the team is now tasked with cutting the roster from 90 players to 53, a job head coach Bill Belichick is well prepared for.

There are a handful of players on New England’s roster who would have made the team in years past. It’s hard to find the cons of a team overflowing with talent, but having to part with a useful player is surely one of them.

A number of those players will become priority waiver wire pickups while others will hope to have earned a spot on the Patriots practice squad.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at the New England Patriots projected 53-man roster for Thursday night’s regular season opener versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
