By Nick Ziegler
The New England Patriots will be in Houston for Week 2 of the preseason. Here is all the info you’ll need to enjoy the game against the Texans.
With Week 2 of the preseason here, the New England Patriots are getting closer to the start of the regular season. As the defending champions, there will surely be a target on their back this season.
In Week 1 of the preseason, the Patriots rested nearly all of their starters and veterans against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Without their starters, the Patriots were unable to defeat the Jaguars, but the coaching staff was able to get a good look at some young players.
Against the Texans, the Patriots will be looking to get their starters some action against the Texans. Quarterback Tom Brady is expected to make his preseason debut along with many of the other starters for the Patriots.
Considering that they are playing a talented Texans defense, this will be a good game to get back in the swing of things. While the starters likely won’t play much, it will certainly be good to see Brady back on the field for the rest time since the Super Bowl.

With the Patriots resting their starters in Week 1, getting them in game action the next two weeks will be important. Considering that the team won’t likely be using any starters in the final week of the preseason, getting them reps against the Texans this week and the Detroit Lions next week will be important.
Hopefully, the Patriots will be able to avoid any injuries tonight. Enjoy the game!
