– Rob Gronkowski

After being one of the top projected players in fantasy football in 2016, owners of Gronkowski were likely a bit upset with the tight end. Injuries really derailed his season last year, as he was only able to play in eight games.

However, in those eight games, Gronkowski was able to average over 20 yards per catch. For even a wide receiver, that is an amazing number, and it goes to show that if Gronkowski is healthy, he is still elite. With 540 receiving yards in eight games last season, Gronkowski would have likely been over 1,000 receiving yards if he was able to stay healthy.

Even though he is the best tight end in the NFL, Gronkowski has had some issues staying healthy in his career. However, he does tend to bounce back in a big way after getting injured. When Gronkowski was injured in 2013, he followed that season up with a monster campaign in 2014. That season, Gronkowski totaled 82 receptions, 1,124 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns.

While injuries are a concern for Gronkowski, those injuries will also likely scare off other owners. As the best tight end in the NFL, fantasy owners might see Gronkowski slip in their drafts. If that happens, he becomes an even better player to take.
