Coming into the 2017 season, the New England Patriots are one of the best teams on paper in the NFL. As the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Patriots got arguably better this offseason.

Usually, a team that wins the Super Bowl has a hard time bouncing back after the big win. Players in contract years tend to leave their winning teams to follow the money elsewhere. Generally, a team struggles to replace what they lost.

However, New England is a different animal. While they did lose players from the Super Bowl team, they were able to replace them. In some instances, even improve on paper.

With the fantasy football season right around the corner, owners will certainly be considering multiple players on the Patriots. With one of the best offenses in the league, the Patriots could easily score 30 points per game next season. For fantasy owners, that is certainly an appealing number.

However, one of the reasons why the Patriots’ offense is projected to be so good is because of their depth. With a lot of talent on offense comes the difficulty of finding out who will be the top fantasy weapon.
