7.) Hugh Millen 1991-1992

As with many of the Patriots quarterbacks, Hugh Millen didn’t play long for New England. After being on both the Rams and Atlanta Falcons for a few years prior to joining New England, Millen got his chance to start in 1991, but the results weren’t great.

In 13 games, Millen totaled a 5-8 record, nine touchdown passes, 18 interceptions, and 3,073 passing yards. While it wasn’t a great showing from Millen, the 5-8 record wasn’t awful. The following season, things got bad for New England. In seven starts, Millen didn’t win a game for the Patriots. However, his touchdown to interception ratio did improve. That season, he threw eight touchdown passes to just 10 interceptions.

Overall, Millen’s impact wasn’t very good. He totaled a 5-15 record while starting for parts of two seasons. After his career in New England came to an end, Millen went on to play for the Broncos for two seasons. He only made two starts in Denver, losing both of them.

Despite being in New England for only two seasons, Millen ranked seventh in total passing yards in franchise history. However, the 17 touchdown passes Millen threw in New England ranked him 11th in franchise history.
